Instrument Interview #4: Christopher Paul Stelling

Here we are for another installment of our Instrument Interview series. Recently we met up with Christopher Paul Stelling at a nearby park for a song and a story about his guitar. When we first worked with CPS, we were struck not only by his friendly demeanor (having a conversation with him is like chatting with an old friend), but by his musicianship, aided by his pal “Brownie,” a guitar that reminds us of the rings of a tree: each scrape, each etching, each small crack means something to him. Every part of his instrument has a story and represents a different time in his life. Here, as the wind blows through the leaves of the trees around us, Christopher talks about the guitar and plays Writhing in Shambles.
