MFA Gallery Show #5: The David Wax Museum

We are thrilled to finish out our sequence of gallery shows from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston with The David Wax Museum. Like many, we first heard David’s soaring voice and Suz’s rattling donkey jaw bone as they soared out from a Newport Folk Festival stage a few years back. Ever since their incredible performance, they’ve been pretty much ascendant, returning this year to the same place but on the main stage, still making people dance, laugh and sing along to their infectious rhythm.
We first met David and Suz in our own apartment, when they played for us a (mostly) quiet set of songs—this time we met them just a few weeks after their triumphant return to the Newport stage to get a pair more. They made the gallery come alive and gathered a crowd. It’s not hard to see why. We hope you enjoy the videos!
